i do not like this way you grade
it cuts me like a shiny blade
to fix the paper i'm afraid
give up! it's all a masquerade.

i wonder if the ink will fade
within the recently started decade
i wish i were sleeping in the shade
of a peaceful, restful, forest glade.

i could be drinking lemonade
with someone cute to serenade
my troubled soul that feels betrayed
while for a better score i prayed.

i could be letting my poor feet wade
in the pool of some cascade
instead of this grammatical crusade
that makes me want to hurl a grenade.

when every paper has decayed
and we've all been buried with a spade
or blown to pieces by a shock air raid
with no one there to give first aid

i'll never wish that i could trade
my life as it will be then arrayed
for one more english paper grade
even if i am underpaid.

let it be forever known that i am not, nor shall i EVER be a pittsburgh steelers fan. there are FAR too many of them in the world.... to borrow from Dickens, shouldn't some of them just die and decrease the surplus population? i suppose they could just convert...

It has come to my attention that the Broncos also deserve a yay this week! Beat the Raiders and are 7-2 overall.....sounding like a decent year for Denver!!!
